As Brand Guardian, I act as a guide to my client's customer experience and engagement but also ensure the message being put out there by your business is consistent and easy to understand for your customer.

 

In my early career as a Creative, my main concern was with making beautiful things.  At this level in my career, I focus on those beautiful things driving a brand forward in awareness, customer, employee and supplier satisfaction and in financial gain.

 

My independence from the agency and the client is vital to remain objective to the needs of the business and its stakeholders. I am not here to sign off work or stifle agency and staff creativity and independence. Instead, I am here to review and steer the fluency of the brand as it goes and offers impartial feedback and ideas.

 

As a trusted Brand Advisor or Guardian, I become the owner of your brand’s equity and responsible for maintaining and building brand strength in consumers minds through all marketing channels.


 

Over the last 18 years, I have successfully progressed the communications for iNGOs to FMCGs and FinTech businesses.  I work to find the equilibrium between business goals and customer desires.

 

I have a huge network of trusted agencies and people I have worked with over the years to help get marketing communications delivered on time and budget tailored to the business size and goals.

 

 

Why would I need a Brand Guardian? 
My Agency does that.

Your agencies need to keep the brand in mind of course but with so many different agencies all working busily producing stuff in silo, it is easy for them to lose united sight of the main goals of the business and desires of the customer.

 

I am here to help work across all the agencies to ensure the marketing comms are right for the Brand and that you are getting the best out of your agencies and in-house talent. I am here to support and even help appoint your agencies or talent as an independent advisor to both parties.  Closing the gap between “them and us”.

 

Why would I need a Brand Guardian? 
My Marketing Director does that. 

I work with lots of Marketing Directors as their right-hand man. I sometimes work as an interim Marketing Director for smaller businesses to help develop the companies Marketing. I soundboard and generate ideas with the Marketing Director and other Senior Stakeholders of the business. Using my connection and experience I help develop and execute marketing plans effectively with a focus on getting results. I also help Business Owners and Marketing Directors find and appoint the right talent and agencies to meet their needs.

 

Having worked in and with multiple agencies, I have a wide network of trusted and proven people and agencies.  I have trusted connections and proven experience in Creative, Design, Branding, Digital, Social, SEO, Research, Experiential, Video & Animation.

 

Why would I need a Brand Guardian? 
I have an in-house creatives.

Creative work, has until recently, always been developed externally. With the increased need for Creative and UX work on a day to day basis, it makes sense to bring these people in-house. However, in my experience, once they are brought in-house they can lose objective perspective fast. They inevitably get sucked into day to day and can lose sight of the bigger picture.

 

My role can help inject a fresh perspective on an established team.  I can help support, encourage and even train your in-house creatives on skills I have acquired over 18 years in Marketing & Branding as well as hands-on Design, Video & Animation.
